What is an Energy Storage System?
An Energy Storage System (ESS) uses multiple sources of power to
supply the power requirements of the home.
Solar PV which is the renewable component of the system will
directly supply the home appliances as well as recharge the
battery.
The Lithium battery is used to supply the home with power during
an outage and during the night.
The grid is used as a last resort in days of cloudy weather or during
times of higher power usage from the home.
The energy flow is intelligently managed by the ESS to provide the
most economical source of energy thereby saving on the energy
bill and providing continuity of power to the home.
